Goal: Develop business skills and acumen and cultivate individual entrepreneurial qualities, especially in the fields of tourism and the international hospitality industry. Understand and develop analytic decision-making methods, which are applied during practical managerial experience in a professional setting.
Program Structure: The Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a Concentration in Hospitality Management is an intensive and innovative degree that prepares students to become effective hospitality industry managers and leaders.
On campus, students hone the necessary critical thinking, leadership, management and entrepreneurial skills required to compete in a globalized economy.
With experienced faculty and small class sizes, students receive the individual support and preparation they need to turn their experience into expertise and achieve excellence.

Paid Internship: Students also directly apply their knowledge through hands-on, professional experience with the opportunity to take part in a one-year paid practical training position in the best hotels and restaurants in the United States. Previous students at Vatel have worked at partnering host hotels such as: St. Regis, Four Seasons, the Peninsula, the Waldorf Astoria, the SLS or the Sofitel.
Vatel’s Career and Employability Center assists students in locating their mandatory internships.
Admissions Requirements: Applicants who have earned a Bachelor’s degree are eligible. Prerequisite courses or hospitality experience may be needed if the student’s degree is not in business or hospitality. The minimum GPA requirement is 2.75. Additional admissions requirements may apply.
