Goal: Introduction to hospitality management through theoretical teaching and professional experience.
Program Structure: The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Concentration in Hospitality Management at Alliant International University is an intensive and innovative degree program that fosters a strong foundation in hotel management, leadership, operations and entrepreneurship. The program can be completed in 3.5 years. Courses are balanced between academic theory and professional practice. Students are trained to meet the highest standards of presentation and grooming expected by the luxury hospitality industry and required to wear business suits in class and at school events.
Students acquire a spectrum of knowledge and skills in hospitality management ranging from understanding food and beverage and guest service operations to learning how to analyze a profit and loss, roll out a marketing strategy, organize a commercial event and recruit a talented workforce. With experienced faculty and small class sizes, students receive the individual support and preparation they need to turn their experience into expertise and achieve excellence.

Paid Internships: Students directly apply their knowledge through hands-on, professional experience during three academic semesters of paid practical training in luxury hotels. Previous students at Vatel have worked at partner host hotels such as: St. Regis, Four Seasons, the Peninsula, the SLS, the Waldorf Astoria or the Sofitel.
Vatel’s Career and Employability Center assists students in locating their mandatory internships.
Students must have successfully graduated from an accredited high school program or have proof of high school equivalency.
The minimum GPA requirement is 2.0. Additional admissions requirements may apply
